Baccarat Systems
by Jason Green of Predictem.com

Systems for Baccarat are much like other systems for roulette and craps as there are many out there but none of them will allow you to beat the house. Basically the odds are always with the casino. You should know that the best Baccarat system is a good Baccarat strategy. The most popular Baccarat system is the 1-3-2-6 Baccarat system that can work, as it allows for fast returns with little risk but it is more of a wagering system than a pure Baccarat system.

The house edge in Baccarat remains the same no matter what Baccarat system or strategy you use. Many Baccarat systems and strategies have one constant rule, which is never betting on the Tie Hand. There are many Baccarat systems out there for sale that advertise you can beat the house. But it is never possible to beat the house in any casino game, as the odds are always with the casino.

Besides not betting on the Tie Bet there is not any special tricks for a Baccarat system. Baccarat is not like Blackjack, as counting cards will not give you an advantage. Many Baccarat systems out there will say that you should look out for and then bet on streaks. But this is just playing a streak, as there is no distinct advantage for betting for or against a streak. Baccarat systems that are based on the hand that was previously dealt are not good and should be stayed away from.

Overall the Dealer's hand will win more than the Player's hand. Even after the commission that is paid on a Player's hand win the best bet is to bet on the Dealer's hand. Therefore a Baccarat system, or strategy, would be to bet mostly on the Dealer's hand. It can seem boring to keep making the same bet but the best casino odds are with you when betting on the Dealer's hand.

The 1-3-2-6 Baccarat System

One Baccarat system that many use is the 1-3-2-6 system. This is not really a Baccarat system per say, but a betting system for the game, which can maximize rewards with little risk. The numbers of 1,3,2, and 6 are the numbered unites you will be betting on every Baccarat hand. On the 1st Baccarat bet you will bet just 1 unit. If you win this bet you will keep the first bet and winnings in play and then add 1 more unit. For the 2nd hand you will have a total of 3 units bet on that hand. If you then win the 2nd hand there will now be a total of 6 unites on the table. Take off 4 units, which will leave 2 still on the table for the 3rd hand. If the 3rd bet wins there will be 4 units left on the table. Take 2 more units and add it to the bet, which will make it so there are 6 units on the 4th bet. If this wins you will receive 12 units and of that 12, 10 are all profit. If at any time you can start this system again with 1 unit.

The advantage of this 1-3-2-6 Baccarat System is the maximum amount you can lose on any bet is only 2 units.

- Losing the 1st hand will only cost you 1 unit
- Winning 1st hand and losing 2nd hand will cost you 2 units.
- Winning 1st and 2nd hand and losing the 3rd will make you a profit of 2 units.
- Winning first three hands but losing the 4th will be even money as you will break even.

Baccarat is a game whereby the croupier gathers in money with a flexible sculling oar, then rakes it home. If I could have borrowed his oar I would have stayed. ~ Mark Twain
