As expected, Tim Tebow is the odds on favorite to win the prestigious award. Tebow, a Senior QB from Florida, COULD have left school early but decided to stick around for another year of college ball. His experience plus the surrounding cast at "The Swamp" should propel him to almost be a lock for this award.
BUT, there's a QB in Oklahoma that may have something to say about that! Sooners QB Sam Bradford will undoubtedly star on ESPN's college gameday on most, if not all Saturday's this season. The star QB tossed 50 touchdowns last year while amassing 4720 yards through the air and he ran in another 5 scores for good measure. This guy had four games where he tossed 5 touchdowns. Absolutely sick numbers. He'll push Tebow for the award.
The only thing that will stop either of the above mentioned signal callers would be an injury.
The oddsmakers have Texas QB Colt McCoy at 3-1 odds but we feel that's a bit generous and that he's overpriced at that number.
The only other player even close to those we've spoken about is Buckeye QB Terrelle Pryor. This guy is good and he'll get his chance to shine on a national level for the Heisman, but not this year.
