Are you a football bettor that constantly loses by a half point or a couple points? Maybe you should look into betting college football teasers if your constantly losing by a field goal or less. This will increase your chances of covering the spread!
Teaser bets are similar to parlays in that your betting on 2 or more teams. The difference is that in a teaser, your "getting" extra points to tack onto your point spread. This does indeed come with a cost though. Instead of betting a small amount to win a larger amount like a teaser offers, your betting even money or worse to win less. Let's take a look at a teaser payout chart and then we'll give you an example of what a college football teaser looks like.
|Basketball:||4 Points||4.5 Points||5 Points|
|Football:||6 Points||6.5 Points||7 Points|
|4 Teams||3/1 (+300)||5/2 (+250)||2/1 (+200)|
Now let's take a look at an example of a 2 team 7 point teaser which will effectively allow us to move the point spread by a whole touchdown and extra point in our favor.
Let's say that we like two games this week. Boston College is playing at Miami and the spread is Miami -8.
In another game, West Virginia is playing at Florida and Florida is laying -3.5.For argument sake, let's say that you like Boston College and West Virginia in the two matchups. You are now able to move the spread 7 points on each which would make Boston College +15 and West Virginia +10.5.
The cost to do this would be -130 which means that your going to have to lay $1.30 for every $1.00 you wish to profit. You of course get your staked amount back should you win as well.

Heisman Trophy Betting Odds - Clemson QB DeShaun Watson will have the ball in his hands a TON and he plays on a good team so he's the obvious favorite to win the award this year at +575. Leonard Fournette at 8.5/1 looks like he could play in the NFL right now. Bama WR Calvin Ridley brings experience and big-time playmaking ability and will be featured on National TV a bunch, giving him a legit darkhorse shot. It's unlikely to happen as offensive players usually win this honor, but Michigan DB Jabrill Peppers (75-1) and Texas AM DT Myles Garret (110-1) could be in the running as well.
