I think the approximate two years is fair. If anything, I felt he could/should get more, not for the crimes (which are unspeakable and inhumane, I agree), but because he seemingly wasn't even remotely remorseful or sorry. IMHO, he probably doesn't even think what he did was wrong. I know no basis for knowing that and it's just an opinion, I could be 100% wrong and he could be genuinely sorry for all I know.

It's nice to see a judge stand up top one of these celebrities, who think they are bulletproof and untouchable, and treat him like the criminal he is. On top of all the sickly issues of the dog brutality, he was the financial backer of a gambling ring that crossed state lines, and the fact that he only plead because everyone turned against him shows no remorse whatsoever. It just shows he had a bad lawyer who wasn't smart enough to force HIM to plead out first and possibly save his ass from all this. Maybe one of the lawyers in here can tell us, but if he plead first I can't imagine he'd be in jail for any legitimate amount of time??? 3- months maybe??? At most???
