Making $$$ on the Belmont
Is it really possible? Could this be one of the worst betting races of all time?
Big Brown will be 1/5, Casino Drive will be at best his morning line of 7/2 and possibly 5/2. On top of that, the "wise guy" horse will be Denis of Cork and even the public will back him and prob bring his odds down from 12/1 because of his impressive finish at Churchill and announcers talking about his worst to 3rd jaunt down the stretch. Then, we have Tale of Ekati who people will play simply because he's never lost at Belmont Park (2 for 2). At least it would offer some value if Casino Drive was 7-8/1 and Denis of Cork 15-18/1 and Tale of Ekati like 20-25/1 but it seems none of those will happen. Not to mention, the exacta and tri pools are all going to contain the same horses it seems to a large extent.
How are you guys gonna go about trying to make money of this???? I'm no seeing the point to be honest...
