I know Cramer used to follow it, which in my mind, is one big strike against it

I guess what I am saying is that Taser is a momentum name. I prefer to stay away from that kind of thing unless I have a good thesis for why it is a good idea. And I can't think of one for Taser.

Right now, large caps, capital spending, and (good) banks are the sure play. Flight to quality still in progress. If you want to be speculative - and take on more risk, start buy into the Blackstone IPO with LIMIT orders. Blackstone is the first big private equity group to go public (I know, spin that around your head a couple times). If they are successful (and they probably will be) - look for Carlyle Group to follow. Just be careful - this is hot money - and if you are up 50% on IPO day, I HIGHLY recommend you sell 75% and let the winning part ride. I think the Blackstone IPO runs next week - I am sure CNBC will cover it. Something to watch.
