So I guess I'm 3-2 now, 1 run away from covering in game 2 and (another) Brad Lidge meltdown away from possibly cashing game 4 after a nice Phils comeback and a better than expected (by most) effort from Blanton, giving up just 5 hits and 4 runs in 6 innings. Although he definitely did struggle at times, he never did implode, and in the end he gave his team a chance to win. That Phils comeback was something that could definitely be expected too, as the NYY pen has blown ass for the most part with the exception of Rivera. But I'll take 3-2. It's a profit.
Game 6:
Phillies +170
under 9 +105
2 units each
The under play is a fade of Lang. The Phillies play is mine.
People keep saying Pedro is "due" for a bad game. That's idiotic. He's been nothing but brilliant so far in the playoffs. If he sucks tonight then so be it. With that being said, if Pedro pitches 5 or 6 good innings, then this line is TERRIBLE. I doubt Pettitte will get them to Rivera on short rest, which means NYY relief will come in, which has been bad news for them for the most part lately. This has been a great world series (for a change), and I think it's going 7 games.....
