And how about the weekend for the "middies".....Navy Midshipmen knock of Nostra Damus and the Middletown "middies" just opened a CAN on Moeller (talk about a woodshed beating) 45-10 and by all accounts it wasn't that close......WOW on that score. Has to be the shocker in the state all the way around.....losing is one thing but they got owned.

When would Dover and the BigRed meet....

Actually switched the OSU/PSU game over in the 3rd Quarter to watch the Middies pull a fast one on ND! PSU line and punt teams got schooled by the Buckeyes.....one for a TD and several for more than 30+ yards which set up short fields. Meanwhile Daryll Clark and the one dimensional passing game was exposed.

Middletown over the Men of M wasn't was big as Canton McKinley the 8th seed thrashing the number 1 seed Toledo Whitment 34 - 13! At least around these parts.

Steubenville has another tough date next week vs. Salem (8-2) who beat perennial power Granville on the Aces home field. And, Dover who rolled big now has a date with Vic Whiting's Canal Fulton Northwest. Northwest beat Buckeye Local one of the teams that beat Dover's first round opponent in the playoffs - Harrison Central - 28-7 while Dover opened that proverbial can on HC and led 42-0 at the half allowing -22 yards of total offense and +35 for the game and their starters never saw the field after an opening 3rd quarter drive.....NW is always good and well coached and this week to lead to the regional final matchups that the OHSAA really wants....Dover vs. Steubenville!
