Gimelstob hasn't gotten out of a first round match this season although he's faced some stiff competition in a few of those he has had some clear matches he should have won and he didn't. This is his last season so there is always the fear he'll try and put a good tourney together but watching him at the US Open I don't think his body can take it anymore. The two things he's got going for him in this matchup is Kubot is not great against serve and volleyers and there is a fast court. Still Kubot should be too strong for Justin. I'll probably have a few more later on today. Good Luck!!!!

Let me give you the game breakdown and you can understand my frustration.

1st set:

3 bp's for Kubot he blows all 3 and Justin hold 1-0
Kubot gets broken easily 2-0 justin
justin has no problems in the 3rd game and leads 3-0
kubot finally holds but it's not easy 3-1
no problems again for justin 4-1
kubot holds to 30 4-2
welcome back kubot..kubot breaks easily 4-3
kubot holds and we seem to have a new match 4-4
justin then holds 5-4
here comes the choke up 30-0 lukasz gives away the set 6-4

2nd set:

justin holds no problem to start the 2nd set 1-0
kubot on que gets broken to love 2-0
kubot shows some spark of like and breaks back
kubot holds 2-2
kubot then breaks again and lead 3-2 and seems on his way
umm not so fast lukasz gets broken again 3-3
then they both hold all the way until 5-5
justin holds to take 6-5 lead
lukasz is up 30-15 and loses 3 straight pts and gets broken for the set and match

Gimelstob 6-4, 7-5
