Had to head out of town for a week and ended up in Georgia so I took some advice of a few friends and headed over to Savannah for the St. Patty's day festivities last night. I was told it was the #2 place for St. Patty's day in the USA and upwards of half a million would be in town for it. I must say, I was not disappointed. Think of it as a mini-mardi gras without all the homosexual tendencies(not homophobic whatsoever, just giving a visual). The river there is dyed green and alcohol is plentiful. I highly suggest it to anyone who may have a chance to check it out, it is a crazy atmosphere. I haven't been able to even watch many of the games besides the late ones but I have been keeping tabs and did manage to fill out 2 brackets that are pretty well busted at this point(besides Kansas, who is my winner in both). Just got home a few hours ago and now I have to get some much needed rest after the insanity that ensued last night.
