"Definitely" COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON +1.5 @ Wofford JOEPA'S UPDATED YTD: 65 - 63 - 1 UNITS: -5.00 1/26: 1 - 3 MAC: 15 - 7 (got too greedy on Saturday) The MAC East is supposed to be heads and shoulders above the weaker West but you couldn't have sold me on that this weekend as the divisions split 3-3 with Kent, Ohio, and Miami the only East winners vs. the West! Kent managed to win in a tight one vs. Western Michigan WITHOUT Chris Singletary who has been on fire of late (18pts. vs. Akron), who is serving a suspension, don't know how many games, for "unspecified violation of team rules"....heard thru the grapevine it was a DUI celebrating after the Akron win....STOOPID and SELFISH sophomore! UCONN -1 vs. Louisville APPALACHAIN STATE -13 vs. Elon BOL to everyone!

When I find out more about the length, etc. of Singletary's suspension I'll let ya know! He definitely put his team in a bad position yesterday needing another ball handler and a bigger body on the defensive end! Keep that in mind as you capp the Flashes but Mincy played great second half D on WMU's Kool as did Sherman who also picked up the scoring slack.....good spot for these guys to step up!

Also.....there was a skirmish at the end of the Akron/Kent game last week, and the MAC has requested and is reviewing the tapes from both teams to see if any suspensions are necessary. From Kent's side, I can see where Jorday Mincy (backup point guard and defensive specialist/ball handler) may be in the wrong....he left the bench during the melee and that of course is a no-no! What a time for this to happen to Kent when Singletary is serving a team suspension, and Haminn Quaintance (5 double-doubles in league play and leads the team in rebounding and is 2nd in scoring), who received a technical during the skirmish, could be considered for some type of reprimand from the league as well even though his actions were retaliatory in nature after a harder than hard foul by UA's McNeese!
