Keeping track of record?

Can someone give me a refresher course on how to keep track of units bet? It's been awhile since I have been on here, and want to make sure I'm doing it right. Thanks

It all depends on how you make your plays. If you use the American odds system, and use $100 as a play unit, you may be risking $110 to win $100 (odds 0f -110).

So if you win your play you would be 1-0 +1 unit; but if you lost your play you would show 0-1 -1.1 units.
