I've been betting hoops all year but just havent found the time to post on here, let alone do writeups. Just wanted to say whats up to all my fellow senior members on here.


Clemson + 5 1/2
The tigers lost both meetings this year in OT and there was another common occurence in both, the heels made them pay from the foul line, going 31-36 on feb 10, 24-30 on jan 6. clemson was a dismal 14-27 on jan 6 and 1-7 on feb 10. this tells me two things, clemson has the players to hang with UNC for a full forty minutes and UNC just knows how to get the W. against BC clemson shot 48% from the floor and 35% from 3, vs. duke they shot 50% and 36% from 3. Unc shot 52% and 46% against FSU and 40% and 35% against va tech. i wish i could catch an extra point or two here but i think clemson has the momentum and motivation to win this game. Im sure UNC will squeek out another last second win but i'll go with the only dog today that has a fighting chance.

Kansas - 5 1/2
Both teams have shot well in their last two games. KU 46/33 and 53/46. Tex 46/42 and 50/45. One thing stands out to me however, texas' top scorers haven't struggled in their last two games while kansas hasn't had much production from their best big, arthur. texas' achilles heel is their low post game and it showed as arthur was 10-16 with 22 points and 6 boards in the loss. ill take the team with the revenge factor in this one as i see arthur having another big day due to his two dismal games he's had so far.

Wisconsin - 6 1/2
Is any other top ten team more boring that the badgers? they have no marquee player, dont score tons of points, but they just seem to get it done game after game. in the past two game wisconsin has shot 34/27 and 37/29, while the illini are shooting 42/45, 61/60, 43/40 in their past three games. illinois has the cinderella story going for them here but i just dont see wisconsin shooting another poor game and illinois shooting the lights out of the gym. im rolling with the badgers and the points as i think butch will bring pruitt out behind the arc as he has developed a nice three point shot, this will open up things for steisma inside and wisky runs away with this one.

was waiting for this line to come out before i posted. nw st has 7 players on their team that were on the team two years ago when they shocked iowa in the ncaa 1st round. no one on tex arl has ever made it to the southland champ game. the game is in texas but not on arlingtons home court so i dont see it being a huge advantage for them. ill go with the experienced team getting the points.
