Well, I have to admit I'm surprised to see Michigan St. here and not Pitt, but Pitt shot themselves out of that game. Nonetheless, I think this is a bad spot for Memphis. I don't have them winning this game in my bracket. They are a bad free throw shooting team, and a weakness like that can haunt a team when the game is on the line. Just like Tennessee's lack of rebounding did last night. So hopefully, this means I'm learning from a lesson rather than making a new one. Neitzel has been much better with the ball lately, and this Spartan team has cut it's turnovers in half from earlier this year. Makes sense, it's Neitzel's senior year. I don't think Memphis is going to get all those quick buckets tonight that make them dominant. I could easily make a case for Michigan St. ML, but taking the safe road tonight with the points. I got reckless with my bet last night, and it's the 2nd time I've had to stop a 2 day skid this month... my last 3 day skid was early-mid January... for what it's worth. Good Luck.

Wow. Neitzel cold as ice and goes to the bench in time to witness some of the sloppiest ball handling I've seen. Talk about putting my foot in my mouth. Michigan St. got down 12-14 points and ever since has been ****ting themselves and just making stupid moves, much like Tennessee did last night. Appears I'm making the same mistake as I did last night. I'm taking some small ($100) insurance on Michigan St. -2 in the 2nd half since I'm getting +22 points for -110. Even if this is a blowout, I think Memphis has gotta sit back a little since they only get 1 day off before Texas. Then again I might be chasing what looks to be a 3 day skid. Son of a... is baseball here yet?

Michigan St. didn't really turn the ball over much (mainly 1st half), but Memphis did hit their free throws for a change. A close to 60% shooting team hit close to 75%, and they got plenty of chances at the stripe. The 2nd half insurance paid off as they outscored Memphis by 12 in the 2nd half, but I only get 1/3 of my money back and still drop another $200 on the night. Puts me at -$1,000 for the 3 day skid. Undecided on if I want to play the month out with hoops, not sure I want to get some of the elite 8 action. I may just switch back to NBA and make half bets. Either way, baseball is a few days away and I can't wait. However, I'd still like to make this month profitable enough to be worth my time. I'm combining the 2nd half bet with the full game bet and just counting it as a -$200 loss on the day and 1 more L in the record.
