just watched the ending of that game again and i for the life of me have never been able to figure out what Pitino was thinking in the way he played that one. For all the accolades he gets, that has to be one of the worst last play coaching jobs i have ever seen: (1) nobody on the ball so Hill gets a free look, (2) having 2 guys on laetner with BOTH playing behind the ball....why in the world wouldn't you front him with 1 of the guys? and (3) not having your tallest player playing behind him...they had a midget on him and he shot right over the one guy.

one of the best endings to a game in the tourney ever, though, including woods running shot over laettner.

lmao...for like the first 3 weeks i thought that was a guy rubbing one out in a jacuzzi with a bunch of other smileys jumping outside of it....
