JB's Summit League Championship Tuesday

My alma matter and hometown UMKC Kangaroos play in the Summit League...so besides the Big XII this is the one mid major I actually know something about....

Oakland ML (+165) Vs. North Dakota State 1 unit to win 1.65
Summit league Championship tonight on ESPN2

I have seen both teams play twice….

IMO....N. Dakota is favored cuz they have the league player of the year…and he is good…Ben Woodside

However…Oakland has two players on the conference first team as well…including the leading assist man in the NATION (J. Jones)

Oaklands best player is Kangis and he is a stud….a much more protypical player then Woodside. Woodside is tiny

Oakland has played a much harder schedule then ND State. Oakland played road games at Cleveland State, Syracuse, Iowa, Kansas State and Michigan State and also played instate rival Michigan at home. Oakland went on the road and beat Oregon...which is TOUGH to do.

North Dakota State did nothing...and when I say that....they played at Idaho, they won at Northern Arizona, they played at Minnesota, they lost at Stephen F. Austin, and they did play at USC....but besides Northern Arizona they did not win any of those games.

While North Dakota State has won 6 in a row...they have not done it in the lights out fashion that Oakland has in winning 9 in a row. Oakland is really playing great basketball now.....for this confrence.....

I really think Oakland upsets ND State tonight…..just based on the knowledge I have of the conference…..and accordingly I will go ahead and forgo the +4.5 and play Oakland on the moneyline tonight in the championship game at +165

Wow....until Oakland **** on themselves down the stretch they had it. Led for 39 minutes....problem being its a 40 minute game

I guess thats what I get for taking the money line......the spread was a pretty easy winner...I don't think ND State ever led by 5. 2 was their biggest lead as memory serves me
