Ohio St, Wash, Gonz, and Ok
- all have favorable locations for the first two rounds

Ohio St has played well and could be peaking at the right time .. Siena had their troubles in non-conference this year. they played some real good teams but lost mostly all of of them.

Purdue i feel is an elite 8 team with the talent and type of players they have

Duke i feel got the daylights scared out of them last year and that will motivate them to get out of the gates early ... GATES ..

Texas .. Steve Lavin has them in the FINAL FOUR .. slick back , hair gel dude that he is .. I like the type of players they bring to the table.. Good Inside , Outside talented players .. abrams,james,mason,atchlety

Nova - playing in philly for rounds 1 and 2 have tourney experience and proven players in Cunningham and Reynolds , i feel their ready to make a run, deep in this tourney. i feel they are plenty capable ..

Florida St - scares the daylights out of me as a P,I,double fan ...

-W Kentucky, VCU, and Port St are plenty capable i feel of pulling off UPSETS .. i don't think it would be a bad idea laying a 1/2 unit on the money line ... but i won't .. taking it slow

I'm still pondering that X game. I am a pretty big believer in rebounding having a major impact on the outcome of a game. I think X's size, strength and athleticism could really wear PSU down Friday night. From what I've read, PSU is small and forces a lot of turnovers, which is certainly a concern for X. On the flip side, I sincerely doubt PSU has seen a defense similar to the one they will see with X. If PSU is hitting the 3 ball, anything can happen. But Miller's pack line defense will force them to have to hit them consistently...if they do so, it will be an easy cover and perhaps an outright win for PSU. I do think X has enough athletes to get the ball up the floor against PSU, whether its Holloway, Jackson, Raymond, Anderson or even Brown getting the ball up the floor. Once that happens, I just don't know how PSU will be able to stop X down low. Xavier will pound the ball inside to Brown..... Anderson will be able to take advantage of PSU's smaller forwards and Love and Frease will be a load, not to mention McLean cleaning up the glass along with the rest of them. PSU may be forced to sag...which will lead to open jumpers for Holloway, Raymond, Redford, Jackson and Brown.

Even if X isn't hitting from the outside, I think their superior height, strength and athletes will eventually wear down PSU as X continues to dominate the boards.

PSU seems to be somewhat of a trendy pick and X is getting a lot of negative publicity for their slow finish. However, X has a way of showing up for the tourney in recent years. I think they've read the press and will come out inspired to play. I'm not trying to make excuses for X's bad losses....but you have to remember that every time X plays away from home in the A10, they are playing an away game against the other team's Superbowl. Every road game was a red out, blue out, green out, pink out, etc....not to mention two of their losses (Richmond and Duquesne) were on 2 days rest after an emotional home game late on Thursday to an away game on Saturday. The loss to Duquesne was less than 48 hours after a tough Thursday home game against Temple. Richmond was less than 48 hours after winning the A10 regular season against Dayton. Not to mention the Dukes shot 83% from the field in the first half and X damn near came back and escaped with a win. Both the Dukes and Richmond had plenty of rest going into their games with X.

I realize you have to be able to play on 48 hours rest in the tourney....but that isn't the case with this first game. Plus, both teams have to play with 48 hours rest in the 2nd round.

PSU may be able to stay within the number....it all depends on whether the 3's are falling....but PSU is one of the worst defensive teams in the country and they aren't very big. I think X will outrebound them by at least 20 and may win the game going away. And like I said, when looking at PSU's schedule, its pretty safe to say X will be, by far, the best defensive team they have faced all year.

I may not play the side for the game but may play PSU in the 1st half and X in the 2nd half.

- i drafted that WOODSIDE for them in my player draft ( he is my sixth man ).. Your sixth man had to be from a team that was a 10 seed or higher ..
- i have them upsetting Kansas in my bracket also
