I can't believe the horsehoe that I found shoved up my ass because that UNC game had OVER written all over it at the half. Even if Villanova would have found a way to cover, I would have lost the tiebreaker big time.

Congrats to Shooter and sorry to Brock and Sakras. I know how hard it was to get this far. As we all know, sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

I, as well want to again thank Flyers and Jerbeek for all the effort they have put into this contest.

It is always better to be lucky than good. (Just look at my signature!)

Look for Shooter's T-f-T (Toys for Tots) thread in the baseball section. I have not placed a real money wager in over a year now due to "If it ain't fun, don't do it..."

In November, if there is any money left in this account, It will be taken out and HALF will be donated Back to the wonderful people that give me my GA therapy every day.

I could not ask for a better bunch of guys (and girls) to be associated with. For anyone in the Nascar league, you know the temultuous past 5 months I have had.

I got married in October. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in early November. She had a successful lumpectomy in late November. Went through a HELL of time with radiation. She fell and shattered her ankle one day on the way to radiation. (Surgery required for that as well) She lost her job the next week. She got a new job as a financial administrator for a university before her disability was even completed. YAY! (Plus a HEALTHY severence package) And now, because of this Cancer crap, she can no longer take birth control. I had a vasectomy last week because asking her to have another surgery just was not fair.....

This little slice of action was the best therapy anyone could have asked for! You guys have been great!

Good luck NIU MURPH and congrats to Sakras and Brock for hitting a tidy sum of money as well.

I also can't say enough about Justbet.com - Sportsbook, Casino & Racebook for donating a grand to put up for this. I hope they get a little smile knowing some of their money will help put a smile on some childrens' faces in a few months!
