Lots of good matchups in this game ...Suton has been HUGE for Mich St these last two games.. He is the X factor for Sparty IMO .. I think Uconn is ok if Michigan St slows this down and turns this into a slugfest. I don't feel the same for Sparty if Uconn pushes the ball, and turns this into a shootout. Too much size and athleticism in my opinion in favor of UCONN, too much depth with Walker, and Robinson and Austrie...

GL, but I think Sparty will be the ones to push it and Uconn to slow it down. By MSU pushing it they can take Thabeet out of the equation fairly easily, and UCONN will want it to be somewhat slower so they can use him on offense and defense.

I think if MSU pushes this game, they will die a quick death. I only see them do this if they are down DD late in the second half. Take Thabeet out by using the outside game. They have to hit threes.

I agree with BB, the best way to negate Thabeet is to take your big out from underneath and onto the perimiter. MSU can score points, but their strength is rebounding the basketball and playing a hard defensive controlled game. When the game gets into a track meet they are not long for a W. Just look at the LOU game. Same thing. The LAST thing MSU wanted to do is push the pace. GL!...W2
