I have been waiting for this as Dayton has really started to play better. New Mexico will be challenged on the boards and defensively by the strongest team in both categories this season. Dayton has also started to hit their stride as Rob Lowery is at full speed.

NM is very tough at home and even tougher ATS than I realized both at home, against non-conference teams and overall. But Dayton while playing from behind most of the game still were able to stay within the number (8) for the entire game. If they had shot poorly instead of atrociously then the Flyers could have come out with the W. This is a good sign for them to play this well on the road and they should continue their strong play. The problem is they aren't a team that blows you out so they might have some problems covering the big numbers they may be looking at it in the next couple of weeks.
