layed off tuesday, will lay off friday. dont anticipate alot of plays so keeping one thread for these days. i need to break the 20 unit mark for my sanity's sake so im treading lightly til the huge saturday slate,

1 unit

Texas Tech-3 vs. iowa st= tech is not a very good team, but they play their best at home like most big 12 teams do.
Iowa st is an ok team with a star big man in brackens, and they are coming off a road win at nebraska and a solid showing vs texas. however, this is still the team that only beat north dakota st by 2 at home prior to those games, and managed to get outrebounded by a houston team that had been getting completely demolished on the glass.

if tech should lose here ill back them saturday at home vs oklahoma, as i see tech at least managing a split of these two home games. a win by 3 or less over iowa st throws that angle out the window, but its more likely the game will be decided by more than that.

considering backing ole miss at home vs south carolina and maybe the over there, should be a fast paced game.

i don't know....i layed off ALA tonight for the same reason I may lay off of Taco Tech tomorrow....the more i look at it the more i just don't trust them. I don't like ISU at all so it would be taco tech or nothing for me.

I didn't see a bunch of first glance that i liked tomorrow.

Marquee game is GT +1 @ P-I Double T.....something tells me GT comes away with a win.

GL!

i agree, for a large slate there are of sharp numbers and just not a lot of games i like.

that opening pitt number definately seems to be telling, 5-0 in big east and not even laying the standard home 3? im not touching that game however.

couple games im looking at tho..

WISCY-8 vs. michigan= beating uconn doesnt impress me that much, that team is just not very good. i'd be shocked if michigan and their 29% 3 pt shooting and 2 man show offense dont take a double digit L in at least one of next 2 games (next game at purdue)

if mich covers vs wiscy, they may be a single digit dog again at purdue., any thoughts on this angle flyers?

Lasalle-9.5 at penn= im still trying to figure out if this terrible penn team turned some kind of corner by playing temple tough last game? Dunphy wouldnt run the score up on his former team, so that may have something to do with that score.. lasalle should blow them out i would think, especially if barrett reuturns tonight.

I definately may be underestimating the ****tiness of tech, but iowa St has 7 players tongiht, luc staigger left the team and they have no depth at all. tech has done a decent at job at home if you take out the near loss to mcneese st.

another decent looking spot tonight

Georgia St-4 vs. nc wilmington

Wilmington is as inconsistent as it gets, their games lately are either decided by one possession or they get demolished. nearly beat richmond, lose by 40, beat will and mary, get blown out in 3 of 4, then nearly beat uva.

Georgia st has lost 5 str8, and the way their schedule shapes up after this game, this may be the only time they'll be favored to win. being a senior laden team that isnt completely terrible (they played relatively well their last 2 games) , i think they'l really get up for this home game. When these teams met in wilmington couple weeks ago it was very competitive game, wilm won by 7 cuz of fts at the end. thinking g st gets revenge win here.

thanks flyers, i thought they were gonna choke

duquesne's loss at uri sets up a solid spot on saturday. 0-4 in the conference at home against a very beatable st bonnies squad, desperation spot for duquesne. st bonnies beat umass to avoid going 1-4 in conference so not as important a game for them. the dukes had the lead with under 2 minutes left tonight on the road at uri despite a lousy game for bolding. they will be up for the st bonny game, line wont be any higher than 7 i would think.

Thursday might be the biggest pile of **** i have seen on a card in a while. Those crap conferences like the Big West and Sun Belt are about as unpredictable as any IMO.

agree man, really not into this slate. considering two home teams

Arkansas vs. florida

Seton Hall vs. louisville

not sure i realy want to back these teams however, arkansas' best win is alabama by far and that's not very impressive at all. and hazell will probly score 25+, but take 30 shots to do it. i could be 'suaded to back one of these teams if anyone has any input.

laying off seton hall, should be a good one tho. if louisville loses i'll back them sunday at home vs cinci to stop their skid .

1 unit

Arkansas (pk) (-105)

i think the home team is worth a shot here, they've been gaining confidence lately from their last 3 games and i dont think much of florida, hopefully florida starts throwing up bricks again on the road here like they had been prior to conference play.

that should be it for me today, gl all
