This has been a game of runs....both teams have had 7-0 runs and Akron was just on a 14-1 run!

These regional telecasts by ESPN tick me off.....cannot see the scoreboard on my HD and it's not an HD telecast! I changed to all the formats and score only shows up when they go to a break!

That's the way, attack the 7 footer Kent, he is a horrible shooter and tries to block every shot. However, by the time he's a senior (just a frosh now), he's going to be a holy terror in the MAC!

In big rivalries the players never forget......
Last year Kent's Chris Singletary punched an Akron play on a jump shot early in the game and he got tossed. Today, in the first couple of minutes on a dead ball, Singletary was holding the ball above his head to toss to a referee and an Akron player threw a forearm into Singletary's chest. He didn't get tossed but did get a technical foul which Kent promptly missed both ends of......

C'mon Kent....defensive lapse allow a driving layup from the top of the key 39-38 Akron and Marshall gets his 3rd blocked shot on a huge swat but all body foul and not called.
