OU needed a little more help yesterday. But what I saw was that Virginia didn't perform terrible without Landisberg (sp.). They may actually have performed better and, like Notre Dame without Harrangody, may actually perform better in the short term without an injured or suspended player. Typically you will get more people playing against teams that are perceived to be down important players, while those teams are actually able to step their performance up while the player is temporarily missing. A good example in the NBA is the Hornets performance without Chris Paul. But thanks for the updates. I had a meeting this morning and I didn't have any time for writeups.

That's a good point, and it looks like UVA is playing more as a team in this 1st half rather than depending on one guy to get all of the points. And of course, shooting 6-11 from 3 point range certainly helps as well!

Miami was also without their leading scorer and rebounder today if the boxscore is accurate. It does not appear to have had a negative impact as usually anticipated.
