Thurs Night CFB 9/13

Well, I was able to pick myself up a tad last week after being KO'd to the tune of -21.36 units in week 1...lets see if I can possibly get back to even here in week 3.

Starting with:

Air Force +8.5 (+100)

3 units

I was going to do a write up on this game, but I spent the last half hour replying to the ILL @ SYR thread, lol. Now it's time for dinner (steak, yum ) and my kid will be pissed if i don't get my ass in gear and away from the computer, LOL

More than likely going to be on Maryland too. Trying to get the best of that line yet though....as I believe SIA will move to at least +17 (+100) if not +17.5 (currently +17 -110) closer to kick off.

GL stif and enjoy that steak. I can't bring myself to put my cash on maryland. i dont think by playing villanova and fiu has prepared them for what wvu will bring. Also, wvu has been on cruise control for the first two games and now is when they can kick it in gear, they just cant show up at halftime like last weekend. I wont bet on the game so i wish you luck. I like the home dog in the air force game. Line goes down even though tcu being hit at 68% gimme the points!

i am on AFA, as well. I was on them last week and i like them again this week. TCU's offense isn't good enough at this point based on what i have seen to make them 8 1/2 point favs on the road. I actually think this game stays in the low 20's with a 23-17 type final or 23-20.

Well, I took it at +17, as it appears it's not going any higher., and also added the under in the AFA/TCU game....

Maryland +17
Air Force/TCU under 43 (-105)

I like the AFA pick a whole lot more than the Maryland one for some reason.....if anyone cares. I think it just worries me that so many are playing the Twirps tonight. Normally when I play these Thurs night home dogs, it's just me and like 2 or 3 other people here, lol. Tonight there seems to be plenty of Twerp backers.

I added the under in the AFA game pretty much for the same reason I took the points. I suspect there will be alot of running and defense, and not too many shots down the field, lol. I think both defenses will be ready to defend that style of play, and points should be at a premium in that match up IMO. In cases like that I really just love getting the points on a spread that equals a huge 20% of the posted total.

Piss on Maryland. They never adjusted once WV started stopping what looked like a promising running game in the beginning. It seemed like they were almost content to try and play a close game and try to win it at the end, which anyone with any common sense knows isn't gonna work against WV unless you have one hell of a defense. Kind of like PHX in the NBA, they're bound to get their scores, but they're all or nothing and they'll let you back in the game if you can score....you just gotta hang in there and wait for their mistakes and capitalize. Unfortunately MD couldn't score.

That #7 for WV really did some damage too....

In any case, I'll gladly take the push on that one, since it looks like AF won outright in OT and the under cashed as well
