MP's "I'll be at the beach" Week Five Picks
Had another so-so week last time out, going 1-2 in posted ATS plays. Hit a 5:1 6-team teaser though that put me in the green.
So, again, buyer beware.  I'm off to St. Petersburg, FL for the week, so think of me on the beach. I'll have a cold one for ya.  Don't have time for long write ups (sorry) but here's what I got for week five: BoiseSt -10.5 vs. So. Miss (Smurf Turf on National TV=Me like) 3 UNITS Fla. Atlantic +23 at Kentucky (Owls can throw the ball very well and should put up some pts; KY has allowed 400+ yards each of the last three weeks) 2 UNITS Syracuse -1.5 at Miami OH (I watched the Cuse move the ball at will against a bad Louisville defense; Miami's is horrible as well plus the Redhawks can't score) 3 UNITS Ball St -16.5 vs. Buffalo (Cards are simply a better team; they won by 30 last year) 3 UNITS West Virginia -7 at South Florida (Beating a "decent" Auburn team and blowing out UNC and Elon isn't convincing enough to me; WVU averaging 47.5 ppg and White is throwing the ball well) 3 UNITS 7 Point Teaser (6 Teams) bet 3 UNITS to WIN 15 UNITS Michigan -10 at Northwestern (Michigan should win by 20+) VirginiaTech -11.5 vs. UNC ('Heels are going backward) NotreDame +29.5 at Purdue (ND is actually improving) OhioSt -17 at Minnesota (Minny is awful; Bucks on a roll) Colorado +29.5 vs. Oklahoma (Buffs keep it within a few TDs at home) Penn St +4 at Illinois (JoePa will have his troops rebound) GL all...have a good weekend!
