Thanks Daws, Nitts, hodown JoePa, JPix & L.T.L
Jpix- there's plenty of room on board the UCF train UCF- 1st thing that jumped out to me was the situational aspect of this game. USF has Rutgers on deck plus a short week. Very tough not to look ahead when you have one of the biggest divisional games of the season on deck. Now, let me say this- I like USF as a team. I think they are a great up & coming program, & loved it when they beat Auburn. However, I think they are a bit overvalued here. USF managed a win vs. WV, thanks to 6 turnovers, despite being outgained 437-274. FAU managed 411 total yards vs. the Bulls last week. Now they have to face the nation's #9 rushing attack lead by Kevin Smith, who is averaging 5.9 ypc. USF is allowing 115 ypg, & UCF is averaging 239 per game on the ground, something's got to give. As JoePa pointed out the Knights are off a loss, in which they outgained E Car by 130 yards, but surrendered 5 turnovers. I think UCF will be able to move the ball vs. USF, & an outright win would not surprise me.....

Thanks Queen
Added Pitt, Pitt team o14 1sth & game over. Some reasoning in the discussion thread, basically a fade of Navy's D. IMO Pitt finally gets off to a big start at home....

UDog, did you catch that Cincy-Rutgers game? Man, I cannot tell you how impressed I am with Cincy right now. Opportunistic defense that seems to thrive on creating turnovers. QB who's tough as s--t. WRs that are absolute playmakers.
I think they give Louisville team absolute fits this weekend |

Thanks Bo, Birds, Hoosier.... 2-1 +2 units for Humpday
Hoosier- Yes I did... actually watched that game over the LSU/Florida game (thankfully I have TiVo) & had Cincy +pts & ML. I'm sure many will look to grab the points here, thinking Louisville is a high scoring team & can hang, or that 10.5 is just too many pts. I think Cincy's no-huddle offense is going to wreak havoc on the Cards, who are allowing over 30 ppg & 444 total yards. I'm pretty sure Cincy will be up for this one, as they haven't won vs. Louisville the last 4 meetings. Crowd should be insane. Aside from the close win last week @ Rutgers, Cincy hasn't even played a close game. They passed the test last week, so I'm confident enough to lay the chalk vs. a team that couldn't beat Cuse or Utah at home..... IMO this will be a 3 td win. Daws- I'm starting to think the Pac-10 isn't as good as I thought after losses by USC & UCLA... Is Cal really the #2 team in college? I'm not sure. This is the highest ranking for Cal in over 50 years. While there's no doubt Cal is the better team, I think they are due for a letdown game. IMO they have had 2 quality wins, at home vs. the Vols & @ Oregon. They gave up 31 pts to Tenn, & were extremely lucky to escape Oregon with a win. They were outgained by 100 yards & allowed 4.9 ypc to the Ducks, but benefitted from 4 turnovers. Hell they only beat Colorado state 34-28! For some reason, OSU plays well in Berkely, having won the last 3 meetings there. That includes 2005, when OSU finished 5-6 but beat then 18th ranked Cal in their own house 23-20. OSU has a playmaker in Bernard, who had 194 yds & 2 tds last time they beat Cal. I do have my worries about Canfield, who has thrown 7 tds but 13 interceptions. However, 5 were in the game @ Arizona state, & 3 were @ Cincy. Cal off a bye, I would have liked it even more (& possibly played ml) had they been fresh off the Oregon win....
