I dont get my kids until the 26th so I cannot make it. I am expecting either a blowout by Purdue or an outright win by CMU.

This has to be one of the top five WORST bowl match-ups of all time. There have been some doozies in the past few years, but this one is quite appalling. How the hell does the Sun Belt Conference get two bowl bids? Ridiculous.

So even though this bowl matchup completely sucks, I'll provide an interesting (somewhat) tidbit about the sponsor. R&L Transfer is company from my hometown...The owner started back in the late 60's/early 70's....with ONE truck. He and his wife lived across the street from my parents (before I was born) in a small house. The owner drove shipments by himself to and from Florida. Now, he could own the entire county and actually owns a ton of land in the county. Its amazing how people can be...the more and more successful his company got, rumors got started that he got his capital by hauling freight, among other things, to and from Florida. Now, R&L is one of the larger freight companies in America...and I think they also sponsor Greg Biffle...he drives an R&L car in a few races a year.

Truly a story or rags to riches...the guy had nothing...bought one truck and now his company sponsors a Nascar racecar and pretty big time driver and he sponsors a bowl.

So even though the bowl matchup may suck, there is a pretty interesting story behind the sponsor....LOL.
