GL on the same side with the Bears getting 13....see the line is going up..looks as if more of the public is on UCONN?? does this seem weird to you ?? I almost think Baylor at this line is too good to be true...I ML as well getting +400..

A few reasons....

1. Baylor's first game on the road. I think the freshman QB Griffin will be a little homesick. I just hope he holds onto the ball. I am kind of using the under as a small hedge on the Baylor play. I think Briles will keep the game conservative for a while.

2. Baylor's defense has been pretty good. They gave up 41 to Wake but Wake got 5 turnovers.

3. UConn has only played Temple and Virginia, two bad teams. They also run the ball better than they pass. I think UConn may have a little letdown from the blowout of Virginia.

4. I think the Big East is not very good, probably the worst conference in the BCS. WVU looked very average last night vs. a Colorado team that struggled with E Washington.

5. Lastly, it looks like the over is a slight public favorite.

The line opened at 14 and was bet down to 11.5 at one point yesterday afternoon, despite lots of pub play on UConn. I think the line is drifting up due to lots of bets (most likely from the public again) on UConn. It will be interesting to see if the line moves much from 7 to 8 pm Eastern.
