Akron -10 over Army - The Black Knights of the Hudson are awful, losing last week to New Hampshire. Akron is a typical solid MAC team that put a whoppin' on Syracuse last week. W

Ole Miss -7 over Vandy - This is my sleeper team in the SEC and they have played solid ball so far with just a near mis vs. WF. Vandy is young and mistake prone. Houston Nutt's team wins big.L

Fresno St. -7 over Toedo - Big bounce back for Pat Hill's boys after home loss to Wisky by 3. Toledo will not be able to move the ball vs stout Fresno D. L

Ball St. +3 over Indiana - MAC teams fare well against Big 10 bottom feeders. Ball St will fly by a slower Indy team. W

Wake Forest +5 over Fla St. - Seminoles have played the Litle Sisters of the Poor twice while Wake has been solid against much better competition. Bowden will be bumfuzzled by a team that will be much more disciplined than his in all phases of the game. W

San Jose St +8 over Stanford - SJS always plays tough vs, the Tree. This year will be no different.L
