WORST-EVER ESPN Announcers strike again.....

These weekday guys are just brutal.....I was watching the Buffalo/Miami,OH game last night and the same crew that totally biffed on the OU/Temple game was paired again...Ray Bentley and whatever his name is "just stick to American Gladiators guy"......

Near the end of the OU/Temple game......el stupido numero dos actually said that OU could just run the ball to get into position for a field goal with time running out...the problem was the Bobcats trailed by 4 points!

Well here are some even brighter comments from the UB/MU-OH game:

Scenario: UB on Miami's 47 yard line 3rd and 10:
A dropped pass at the Miami 32...."it would not have been enough for the first down anyway"....WTF...it would have been a gain of 15 yards!

Scenario: Buffalo drives for an apparent TD in a scrum at the goal line:
Bentley: "that looks like a TD on the replay"
Stupido: "If not, then that ball is certainly on the line (goal line)".....sheesh, I thought a ball on the goal line was a TD dumbass. Guess they changed the rules this year!

Scenario: Miami ball, 3rd and 10 on the UB 31 yard line"
Stupido: "It's third and ten just INSIDE the 30 yard line"......NO, I believe it's outside the 30 yard line....the 29 would be considered INSIDE the 30 yard line....

Scenario: Buffalo runs and fake punt and gets a first down:
Bentley: "That's good recognition from tapes or SOMETHING"......Now WTF would the something be....a coach from Miami telling them what to run....


Is anybody else sick of watching these guys......I quit watching in the 2nd quarter and just peeked in from time to time to see what the score was......

I couldnt agree with you more JoePa, Iv'e watched these MAC tuesday night showcase games and it seems to me that the student broadcast journalism guests do a better job than these guys!

I sit at home watching these games and hollar at the television when Dumb and Dumber throw out another wonderful "stupidism"

They also had a moment last night near the end of the game where Bentley was talking about the Miami "Seahawks" arent they the Red-Hawks??????!!!!!!! You would think they could at least get the team names correct.

I did however like the fact that Dumb called out Dumber last week on the kick the 4 point field goal for a tie comment when he said that "they're down by four, last time I checked my math a field goal won't help them right now."

These guys make me wish for Dennis Miller to make it back to the broadcast booth!

Ya know I thought it was just me. But these guys are Horrifik. I didn't pay to much attention to the game last night but I heard a couple things that just didn't make sense.

On another note, is it just me or is anybody else tired of the ridiculous texting on the top of the screen. A perfect match to complete the horrible product they put on screen. Cu mon ESPN cant do better than that?

Theres another guy, I have no idea who he is, but he's horrible too.

The ugly ones(who know the game inside out) are on relegated to radio where they can be heard but not seen. I did high school and Div. III college football for 20 years on the radio-- so you know I'm uglier than heck.
If I had a head full of hair I could've gone far.LOL
