I've had this one locked in my sights for a while..ball st. starts off as 3 pt favs' now they're 3 pt dogs..The MAC is horrendous..no doubt about it..I know Ball St. laid an egg against Buffalo, and they're a much better team, but IMO ball st is a very average football team..nice qb and a solid rb, but a bad defense...I really don't care how bad you play..when you lose to Buffalo that tells me something..im just confused to why ball st started off as a fav?? maybe this is one of those too good to be true games.?? I dunno but i don't think Ball St can stop tulsa..Tulsa has wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much speed and athletes....johnson is a heck of a qb who had a terrible game against ecu..I know houston put up 70 against tulsa, but they played a perfect game, and ball state isn't in the same world as houston..ball st. gettinig way too much credit for being a one loss team..I think Tulsa ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLS tonight ...by the way Ball St.'s coach has peaced out....I know tulsa's is gone, but it doesn't matter!! im absolutely unloading on the golden hurricane..

First of all great job this bowl season RamPride. Nothing short of spectacular, but I'm curious as to why you would risk over 65% of your winnings for the entire bowl season on one play? In your writeup you even say it could be one of those too good to be true games! Win or lose tonight, it's not gonna pay long term. JMO....

Honestly I've been looking at this game since the beginning of bowl season..To me it looks to good to be true, but I just can't ignore the fact that I feel ball st. is getting too much credit in this spot. .I know Tulsa doesn't play anyone, but I just feel they are a better team..way better then Ball St. like 10+ pts better..more speed, better athletes..Looks to me as if Tulsa wants to make a point as well because they're playing a ranked opponent, with 1 loss...Nate Davis is a GOOD MAC player...I noticed a huge speed difference in the FAU/CMU game ..it was a terrible game but FAU competed against a great offense/QB with their great team speed on D....The Sun Belt is probably comparable to C-USA a conference in which Tulsa wins if they don't have 7 turnovers against ECU which has a VERY GOOD DEFENSE...I know Ball St. beat Indiana but that was with their best receiver who god bless him was injured for his career...their defense didn't come close to stopping a GARBAGE INDIANA squad..fell Tulsa is better then that ..MUCH BETTER!

At this point i've never had a run like this in my life!! I know its TERRIBLE MONEY MANAGEMENT, and I never make plays like this ...EVER...seeing that i could be 14-2 and only up a few units is very dumb, but it's the man's money, and I always told myself if I got into a situation like this one time in my life i wouldn't cheat myself.. I feel this is the time, and place/game to rev it up!!! GL hope this makes more sense to ya!! Lets $$$$

I can understand the comments about the MAC, but cannot understand the comments about the Ball State defense.

Ball States defense is much better than Tulsa's.

Tulsa gives up 29.1 pts per game. Ball 18.6
Tulsa gives up 391 yd per game. Ball 348
Tulsa gave up 32 TD passes. Ball 14
Tulsa had 9 INTS. Ball 16

In addition, I do not understand your comment in my thread.

First let me say--Tulsa jumps on top quickly. So far so good for Ram.

Secondly, I believe in the philosophy fade the MAC at all costs. The MAC has got to be the worst conference in the country and the bowls have shown this. Unfortunately, I felt like many of you did, that Ball St should win based on the numbers, and I had to take the 3. I held my nose and took Ballbag, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Tulsa work them like a cheap hooker.

Yeah we///Tulsa needs to keep the good field position and not fumble..if they do that they'll be ok..it'll probably stop raining when Ball State gets the ball next possession lol
