With the two weeks off, home field advantage, and much improved team Miami gets their revenge on G. Tech from last year tonight. I'm scared to death of Tech's option attack but believe Miami is athletic enough to contain it given the time they've had to prepare. And if they can slow the run game, GTech won't be able to beat them through the air. Lean towards the over as I expect GT to score some

GTech looks exhausted. Miami's offense looking like it can do whatever it wants. They get the kick and will score. Tech's offense not able to play from behind and Miami kills the clock...

Wanted to get Miami -.5 and the UNDER 26.5 in but I was too late. We'll see how that works out...

Thanks FF! Miami's got that swagger back. Will be interesting to see how they do vs. VaTech and Oklahoma. Those are some real tests. GTech playing their 3rd in 12 days on the road in a Thursday night game was a nice spot for The U. But man what a brutal opening sked...I can't stand the bachelor Jessie. He's terrible. He says absolutely nothing insightful and adds no value. That no-talent piece of **** needs to get out of football entirely.

The fightin' Pat Hills might pull off the upset. They were clearly looking ahead last week and I look for them to come out focused and energized vs. the darlings from BSU on national TV at home. Will likely put a bit on the ML as well.

On my radar:
Washington +20 - Corp will play but that doesn't matter. SC struggles on the road in the pacific northwest and lockler is a stud of a QB who gives SC fits. Over looks good in this one as well. Expecting a 35-28 type USC victory.

Arizona Under 41.5 - An educated tail of Flyers. Arizona will run run run and try and win this game defensively, which they may. I lean to Iowa however in the cats first big road test.

Syracuse +3 - Popular play here. NW has no business being a road fave.

Fresno sure gave BSU the game last night on two big plays....the pick6 2 minutes in and the dropped INT in the 4th quarter which found BSU scoring on the very next play...Bulldogs make some routine plays last night they cover.

Arizona/Iowa Under 41.5 (-110) *1 unit
The only thing I can expect from the Wildcats today is a good defensive performance and establishing the run game. Pre Season All American TE Gronk is out...Dean, our deep threat, has a sore hammy. Scott is a running QB and Arizona will give Iowa a heavy does of Nic Grigsby. Close, low scoring game which could go either way.

Washington +20.5 (-110) *1 unit
Too many reasons Washington can keep it close. The Udub coaches coming over from SC last year and Jake Lockler are the main reasons I think Washington can keep this within the number. Not to mention USC's tendency to lay an egg on the road in the pacific northwest or injuries to Barkley and Mays, although I do believe Corp is a very capable backup and if he's the guy for SC they don't lose anything except maybe a little bit of game rhythm.

Oregon -3.5 (-110) *1 unit
Just feel like the books are begging for Utah money here. Oregon tough at home, and Utah perhaps a bit untested and overrated due to recent success as opposed to this year's team. Just hope Oregon isn't looking ahead to Cal next week

Va Tech -5 (-110) *1 unit
Don't like a first year QB going into a hostile environment vs a team who always makes plays on special teams. No thanks.

For the later games, i'm liking but haven't played:

**love backing favored, unranked home teams vs. a ranked opponent. Not to mention I think Arkansas is legit and Georgia gives up allllllllot of offense.

They may have run for 900 yards on NAU and CMU but they are one dimensional junk on offense without him and when they play the Pac10, they won't win without a passing game. I think they will lose the next 2 @OREST and @UW. Defense is going to have to carry them.

I agree. Your UNDER wins total is looking pretty good right now.

IMO Stoops is waiving the white flag on 09 and trying to figure his QB situation and get his guys some reps. This year's schedule is brutal anyways @OSU, @CAL @USC. We're going nowhere fast. I'm ok with it
