Pudue -6.5 Over Northwestern

I am currently looking at this game pretty close but wanted to see what all the Purdue guys in here thought too.

Obviously a game the Boilers can and should win.

Of all the games on the board this one caught my eye.

Will be back with more later but wanted to put it out there and see what you guys think and if I am missing something here before the line moves at all.

I don't like it much at all. Purdue will have a let down this week, most likely. Maybe not enough to lose, but I think this will be a close game. NW blew us out last year (worst loss of season). NW outgained Minnesota but lost due to 3 bad turnovers....two deep in their own territory and one deep in Minny territory.

I would lean to NW with a decent passing game and a dejected PU team having to cover 7.

to me, the line seems to be asking for Purdue money. People thinking they will bounce back from the loss last week, and NW losing to Minnesota laying less than a td sort of like the PSU line at ILL.

i personally favor the over in this one if i can get a line in the mid 50's.......neither team does much on defense and the low ND total was due to ND getting ultra conservative on offense in the 2nd half with a hobbled QB and that other dude taking snaps. they moved it when they had to at the end rather easily.

NWU hasn't held anyone down this year except towson....24, 35 and 37 to D1 opponents. PUR will hit 30 IMO.
