Always a chance. LouTech has fared badly when facing an opponent that can run the ball. Auburn and Navy ran all over the Bulldogs, so it wouldn't surprise me to see Nevada do the same. At the same time, I don't see how you can lay chalk with a 1-3 team that is allowing 30+ppg.... oh yeah, because they pounded on unlv

I rode Nevada last week, but only because they were a slight fav over a GOD AWFUL UNLV team and it was a great spot for them...in state rivalry with an 0-3 start after pretty lofty expectations to start the year.

La Tech looked pretty good against hawaii but hawaii had just flown around the globe 3 or 4 times in the past couple weeks and simply were out matched on both lines...big size of lineman edge to la tech in that game, just manhandleing the rainbows. I really like how the La tech coach (and AD) has this team playing, he seems to bring good attitude to the team

Both teams are going to run run run. we've seen that in both these teams first four games and it looks like neither team has the ability to stop the run.

Auburn ran for 300 yds against La Tech and Navy ran for 290 against La tech.

la tech ran over hawaii to the tune of 352 yds but in their two games against quality(ish) Auburn and Navy couldnt quite get the offense going, they played well in the first half of both games and the scores look a little more lobsided than the games actually were.

Nevada just had an unreal game on the ground vs. UNLV and rushed for 218 agianst Mizzou two games ago and 169 vs Colorado St three games back.

Nevada held UNLV to under 100yds rushing but UNLV threw 50 times in that game and were playing from behind. the irish were able to run al over them even though it seem the ND style these days is to chuck it whenever they get the chance. col st. went for 180 yds on the ground vs nevada.

In the pros two run team slike these would make me wanna think under on the total, but in college a lot of first downs on the ground mean a lot of stoppages, and runnning could open up the passing game for both these teams. i think both teams might go up and down the field enough to cause this one to go OVER.

as far as the side goes, this is some really interesting line movement...to go from -6 or -7 to -10.5 is pretty crazy given Nevada is 1-3 and La Tech is coming off a very nice national tv win against the beloved hawaii rainbows. La Tech has had two week to prep for this game and I think they come out ready to play.

Im by no means a good capper in my own right but I really wanted to play this game (could be I feel like I have to get some of my money lost back, and its gonna take a while at $50 a game when I am down $1,000. But after reading up on ti and looking at everyone's thoughts, and analyzing my own, something just don't feel right with this game, the Over seems to easy to call, I would of faded it with an under, but the huge jump from the -7 open, Id grab a beer and watch the game, and enjoy it.
