A few I like on the card today

Virginia +5' 2 Units

I am going to wait until closer to kickoff to get my closing line on this but probably won't have time to post. I like the tough defense of Virginia against the option as well as the experience of Al Groh. This team has been steadily improving all season and this is a tough spot for a GT team who has been very fortunate the last few weeks. They have been very opportunistic in taking advantage of turnovers and mistakes the last few weeks but FSU and Miss St self destructed.

OK St -9' 2 Units

This feels like a sucker line but count me in. OK St has started to play well and Baylor has been a mess since the QB went down. While OK St is missing two of it's offensive stars the rest of the team has shown they can step it up when given the opportunity. Good Offense and Good Defense vs Poor Offense and Poor Defense.

Duke -4 2 Units

I like the matchup of Duke's improving offense against the shaky Maryland defense. Also Maryland has struggled since their leading rusher went down. I don't see Maryland being able to score enough to stay in the game throughout.

Tennessee +14 2 Units

Alabama is starting to get public love from ESPN as the best team in the country and they are getting a well coached team off a bye. Bama has covered 4 of last 5 at big numbers and Tennessee has their spotlight game on ESPN from a few weeks ago against Auburn that still is hanging in people's minds. I'll take the solid gameplan from the team with extra time in a rivalry game that would be huge for recruiting. Plus both teams should try and establish the run and that will help to speed the game.

Oregon -10 2 Units

Masaoli back this week and Washington's play has been slipping the last few weeks. They were lucky to win the game vs Zona when they should have gotten blown out. Oregon is hitting on all cylinders and knows how to put a game away. I expect them to score early and put UW in a hole and just keep piling on.

UCLA/Oregon over 50' 2 Units

UA is 4-0 over with Foles as Starter. And it hasn't been close.

Michigan St -1' 2 Units

Good spot for Sparty. If their OL can give Cousins some time MSU will make enough plays to get the W. Iowa hasn't been as consistent lately and really didn't show up in the first half last week.

BYU +120 2 Units

Very good team, at home in a revenge spot from last season where the roles were reversed. BYU has been under the radar a little since the beatdown to FSU and you will definitely get a good effort from BYU.


I am also considering adding Missou, Oregon St and Miss St in that order. The biggest concern in the Miss St game is the fact that they can't hold on to the ball.
