SHALL WE PARLAY (progressively; of couse), OR JUST TEASE +6?

I am doing ALOT of homework to make up for last
weekend's Total DISASTER!!!

12 out of 12 is what I see as Total redemption and
I'm going to give it my Best!!!

I'll get 1-2 wrong ; but Hey; 9 out of
12 pays 3 to 1; and that's better than a sharp
sticl in the EYE, ain't it?

JMED - I am confused about this. What is the advantage to hitting 9 out of 12 and having it pay 3 to 1? If I hit 9 out of 12 at equal units that is 5.4 to 1. and 8 is still 3.6 to 1.

Am I missing something?

I'm just playing down my HUBRIS and being modest.

I'm a GREEDY "BEE"!!!

Trust me, I'm going for 12 out of 12 that pays 900 to 1!!!

And 11 out of 12 plays pays 80 to 1,,,a simple $5 bet become $4500 or $400 respectively.

I just play all that down and concede 9 out of 12 still
pays something; and 3 to 1 is better than a sharp stick
in the eye for sure!!!

I agree Franchise. I don't understand it either.

Parlays are a sucker bet, no matter how you slice and dice it.

And if the reasoning is ... it's just for fun, well, then, to each his own. I personally don't think its fun losing money.

Not attacking you JMED or your plays. In fact I like many of them. Just don't understand why you play them in a giant parlay. As Franchise points out, you'd make more money playing each game separate at equal money.

Where I play:

If I bet $100 each 12 games and won 9:

9 WINS = $100 + WINS $95.25 = 195.25 X 9 = $1,757.25
3 LOSERS, YOU LOSE ALL SO: $0

START MONEY WAS $1200 AND END UP WITH $1757.25
which is a $557.75 profit or 46.5% profit.

Not bad if 9 are right; but a Progressive Parlay pays 3 to 1;
not 1-2 on 12 plays.

So if I risk $120 (1/10th) on a 12 Play and hit on 9,,,I win $360.

But I didn't risk the whole $1200 on it...so it pay out alittle
smaller. And yes, 8 out of 12 pays ZERO; so more risky.

You lose the whole $120...

But if I hit 10 out of 12; it pays $1200.00
If I hit 11 out of 12; it pays $9600.00
And goodness forbid 12 out of 12: that pays $108,000.00

I guess it's the diffrence between buying a Stock outright
and playing the Stock option.

It's a gamble for sure.
