The Cavaliers are only 11-22 ATS in road games under Al Groh, including 6-18 ATS when not getting at least 8 points. Wyoming, meanwhile, has the advantage of being used to the high altitude and the Cowboys are 7-2 ATS as a home underdog under coach Glenn.

Weis has that "****-eating" grin on all the time as all the naysayers spout doom and gloom for the Irish (see MarkMay). He relishes the underdog role and knows he has some young weapons nobody knows about and I think Brown gets the defense up to speed.

I think the Irish will be fine. Once these young guns start getting more experience, they are going to be very dangerous. Their recruiting classes the past few years have been exceptional and Brown should make that defense much better. Sure there will be growing pains this season, but 2008 should be a banner year.
