Exclamation Somewhat Inside INFO for UNT@Oklahoma this Saturday!

this is for anyone interested, take it with a grain of salt. (and some beer)

- I have a friend who worked all summer in Oklahoma doing football camps for the kids, and he worked with former OU QB, Josh Heupel, who was working with the kids too but is also the OU Quarterbacks coach I believe.

anyways, my friend and him are just acquaintances but they did have lunch together, and Heupel said there is no way that OU covers against North Texas. You can read almost anywhere that OU is not set at QB, even so far as they don't even know who to start.

according to Heupel, the guy who ran the most plays so far running the practice now (redshirt QB Sam Bradford) is a total (and I quote) "headcase", and that he makes too many mistakes, so much that they have to stop practice, start over, get shyt organized.

I know you have to take this with a grain of salt, but considering though OU is still an elite program, what they are going through, their instability at QB, and the loss of Adrian Peterson at RB, a huge almost 6 touchdown spread is something to consider.

and with the Miami Hurricanes coming next week, this is a prime "look ahead" game candidate.

on UNT's side, they have Texas HS coach legend Todd Dodge, (anyone from Texas will agree how fanatical and psycho we are with HS football), how it translates on the collegiate level remains to be seen, but the fact is his HS was always consistently ranked #1 every year in the Texas AP polls (Carroll High School in Southlake, TX). He is in his first year but with 10 returning starters on the defense, to me IMO, a 40 point spread SHOULD be manageable, considering with what all OU has to deal with at least for the first game of the season with possibly a redshirt freshman QB and Miami on deck.

even if Bradford isnt starting, the fact that the instability is there for an important position has to be taken into consideration.

just passing along "local" info, I am leaning towards taking UNT, hopefully Heupel is right!

GL guys
