WVU/Marshall Saturday
OK guys here how I see the game going on Saturday. WVU will be leaving Morgantown early Friday morning for a 5 hour bus ride to Huntington WV. Most of the time they take a bus down to Clarksburg WV and fly out. This is the longest bus ride of the season. Next to Thurday game with Maryland they will be taking to bus over to Maryland. This is a joke game here in WV because the governor signed an order that stated they must play each other. WVU loses big money by having to travel to Huntington to this small stadium. WVU has some slight problems on defense againist the passing game. Even though the score in the Miami game did not reflex Marshall passed for 181 yards. They made some mistakes, they got sacked like 6 or 7 times in the Miami game. WVU has Maryland up on deck for a Thursday Night game. White and Slaton both were pulled from the W. Mich game in the 3rd Q. Defense was pulled at the beginning of the 4th Q. WVU won by 32 last year at home. Marshall's turf is slick. Marshall was looking ahead to the WVU game last week in Miami. Marshall coach has been studying films all summer for this WVU game. WVU is not treating it as if it was a walk in the park either. But Coach will pull his starters if they get a big lead. WVU out matches Marshall big time. But with Maryland on board Thursday and WVU being careful. Marshall has nothing to lose they can let it all hang out. Home crowds in the little stadium are rough. (Not as bad as WVU) Im taking the points.
