Default 2 questions on a matter of terminology

Nothing major just curiousity questions...

Ok first question...

I bet the Texans game tonight that was even on the money line by the time I hit it, I know juice is the money that the sportsbook collects, but is an even money bet the same as a no-juice or juiceless?

On winning or losing..

I got into a discussion with my dad on this I guess its up to interpretation, but when I make a bet I tend (for ex 5 to win 5) if I win I think of it in terms of I won $10 due in fact that once I put the confirmation on my bet, that money became the books money.. so I won it back along with my money won.. alternatively.. I only consider that I lost $5 if I lose the bet. Just curious how you guys look at it

that bet wasn't even on the ML, it was even on the SPREAD.....
the books got their juice from the denver bettors (some as high as -2.5---> -125)

If you give me $5.00, and I give you $10.00 back, how much did you make on that transaction???? ROI...

In my eyes, if you bet 50 you can only win 50 and lose 55(or 60)

Yea man, if you give $5 for a bet and get back $10 after you won it, how on Earth do you think of that as winning $10? You profited $5. If everyone looked at the way you explained it the nit would be awfully hard to ever lose money since you are getting 2 to 1 on every straight bet (in your eyes).
