phone: 888-382-1222 It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of
your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked.

I did this about 5 years ago and the calls virtually stopped....however, recently they have started up again, and you have to re-register your phone number!

hmmm maybe that explains why I've been getting so many spam text messages lately. But I'm registered on the Do Not Call web site. It really pisses me off too. I don't have that many minutes on my plan, but I never go over, but the majority of people do not have a text message plan, and since I have verizon, those bitches charge me like 15 cents per text message. It's really disheatening to know that these mofos can send me all these text messages with "anal penetration" in the message.

Isn't that pretty ******* illegal? What if I was 10 years old or something. Those people could get sued quickly for doing something like that.

Hey Recovering-
They had a story on the local news tonight warning about mysterious text messages. In these text messages, they give you a website to go to in order to claim a prize or something. Once you go to the website and click on the "claim prize" link, it downloads a damn virus to your computer crashing everything causing major problems. I havent gotten one, but if you do, delete that garbage! Dont know how legit the story is, but you would have to think it had some credence seeing as it was on the news?? Dont know, just wanted to throw that out there. Damn people and their bullsh#t!!! kinda makes you sick huh??

No problem guys....I was wondering why all of a sudden I started to get phone calls and my number is unlisted so students can't bug me at home! Then someone told me that the Do Not Call list only let's you opt out of telemarketing calls for 5 years at a time, not permanently.....since I did this, they have thankfully ceased again!

Also, I never answer my damned cell phone if I don't recognize the number....saves me minutes as I have a "pay as you go" phone, and the hassle of telling them to piss off.....LMAO
