LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- A major heist took place at a Las Vegas casino early this morning. Sources say suspects may have gotten away with $500,000.

Metro police confirm that two suspects robbed the sports book just after 6 a.m. They are still at large. Police also believe a third person may have been involved as a getaway driver.

Lt. Clint Nichols tells Eyewitness News that the suspects used handguns and the whole ordeal was well planned and took less than one minute.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 385-5555.

It's still early for concrete information, but we're hearing reports that the Las Vegas Hilton was robbed.

Unlike the one suspect who took money from the Harrah's cage, this was a seemingly large planned operation.

Up to three people robbed the sports book and stole in upwards of $500,000.

Are criminals becoming more brazen that they don't care about the thousands of cameras in casinos?
