Who here goes fishing ??

I tell you what i picked it up a few years back ( actually i used to fish alot as a kid ) but never really had the patience ..

anway , i tell you what , you can't beat fishing ... Most relaxing activity there is ..


My dad is pretty hardcore ( ice fishing and everything ) so i usually go with him ..

but even my girl is into it now .. she loves it ..

just got back from two hours at a small lake in PA ( Raccoon State Park )

caught just a couple bluegills and a bass , but it was a blast .....

A few weeks ago 6 of us went out on a charter .. Port Clinton Ohio

55 walleye in about 10 total hours of fishing .. a bunch of sheephead and a few BIG smallmouths ..

I'm addicted to fishing now ..

I think fishing is something that we appreciate more as we grow older.

With all the rush-rush that life forces us into, being on the lake/river with a pole, a budweiser and nature is great therapy. Especially if you have a desk job where you don't get to get out much!

I love to fish deep sea fishing is my favorite. But catfish fishing in the river can be exciting. Couple years back we went catfishing and caught a 6 pound river slimmy catfish. I told the kids we took ok we got pictures throw him back. They said cant we throw it in the neighbor's pool. I said good idea. I could not stand those people. LOL Anyway long story short they were not happy. LOL
