Huge uproar going on regarding the cop that punted the suspect.

My opinion: It was unnecessary. The cop will probably get fired.

That Bama beat down was indeed brutal.

You really can't defend it, dudes snapped and crossed the line.

I would like to say however that if I witnessed an officer being runover (the cop laying down spike strips got hit) I'd probably have snapped as well.

Sad situation. There's a few situations in life when emotions flat out take over a persons brain. While it wasn't acceptable, 90% of most people would have done the same damn thing.

I hope that prick doesnt get lawsuit cash and get rich over that. He started it, I figure he lost his rights the second he failed to pull over.

When I was about 20 or so, I was out with a crowd of buddies and their girlfriends. We all went into the store then came out fifteen mins later and a couple of the girls were crying. We were like WTF. Some dude in the car next to them was standing up in his car jerking off in the window. A pursuit ensued that went through city streets and neighborhoods at over 80mph. Stupid yeah, but adrenaline was pumpin. The dude eventually wrapped his car around a tree and we all thought he was dead. As it turns out, he lived, but we were so pissed theres no doubt we'd have done 10x to that guy than what those cops did.

We're weren't cops, we were young dumbasses, but I can sure empathize with the adrenaline rush the cops had. When you chase down a ruthless **** like that guy in the minivan, you just wanna maul the **** out of them and regard for them or their life somehow doesnt take priority during that process ;)

That cop laying the spike strips, instead should of emptied his clip, then there wouldn't have been a brutal beat down! What ever happened to "STOP OR I WILL SHOOT"? F'k that worthless punk that didn't give a **** about all the lives he put in danger!
