Just another reason I hate banks

I got an email today from my credit card company saying that I'm approved for a credit increase.

I log in and it says that they'll increase my limit if I will pay them a $19.99 fee! I've never heard of such a thing. Is this a new practice?

my bank charges us a 5.00 fee if we DON'T use our debit card for 30 days.

Chit has gotten out of hand. Greed running rampant.

I hear good things about credit unions. Anybody ever use one? Would love to get some insight on how they work and why they seem to advertise such better offerings.
