Yesssssssss, got him pretty cheap.
ESPN.com - NFL - Bills trade McGahee to Ravens for draft picks McGahee traded to Ravens for multiple picks ESPN.com The Ravens and Bills agreed to a trade Thursday that will send running back Willis McGahee to Baltimore in exchange for the team's third and seventh-round picks in this year's draft, along with the Ravens' third-round pick in 2008, league sources tell ESPN.com's Michael Smith.

Adrian Peterson in Buffalo would be SWEET.
While I liked Willis and thought he had good potential, he never reached it. Not even close. His numbers declined each year with Buffalo, and he was completely one dimentional (did not block well or catch passes out of the backfield well), plus he is always looking to break long runs on pretty much every touch, instead of hitting the hole and letting things happen. Word is the Bills are interested in Corey Dillon, or resigning Anthony Thomas. A-train was a good back in Chicago, and was run out of his job due to injury, so who knows what he could do given the chance again. From the Bills side of things, I think THEY got a steal getting rid of a guy whose contract expires at the end of the year, and was going to demand big $$, that Buffalo was not going to pay. Lets face it, we're not going to win the super bowl this year, so why keep a guy around one more season and let him go in free agency and get NOTHING. So while I'm sure Baltimore is satisfied with what they gave in exchange for Willis, if you look at things from the Bills point of view, 3 draft picks is a pretty good deal for them as well. |

the bills got 3 players for a player who is VERY overrated...we weren’t going to resign him after this year anyways...its a great deal for buffalo from that standpoint...willis isn’t a break away rusher....he likes to play that way, but ravens fans will quickly realize what kind of rusher he is......stif knows, there have been countless times when the bills needed a third and one, or a third and inches, and willis, with a power backs body, couldn’t get that yardage....gl ravens with willis....hes going to demand a contract somewhere around 6 years 35 mil....hes not worth it....
