How can he not run him in the Breeders Cup Classic if he wins the Triple Crown? The racing industry should be embarrassed of itself if they allow that to happen (although I understand there's nothing they can do about it). They would FINALLY have two horses people really seem to care about, Big Brown and Curlin, and both running at a high level at the same time. It's simply a disgrace if they don't let them put on a show on racing's second biggest day. |

I don't agree Curlin would "kick his ass", but I'm not saying you're wrong either. Sadly, 80% chance we never find out because the horse fucking is more important than the horse running races. And I know you know since we talk frequently, but I wasn't being a douche, just saying... |

Stud fees for an undefeated Triple Crown winner would be more(by a shitload) than a horse that (potentially) got exposed in the last race of his life. These horses make way more after they are done racing than while they are racing, as I'm sure you know.

I do know, and I think it's one of the biggest contributing factors to the lack of mainstream success that horse racing struggles with. They need to have some kind of monetary incentive for longevity and actually competing and winning, and not for $50 million stud fees. It's never going to happen I know, but it would really benefit racing if the most recognizable horses weren't retired before they are 4 years old.
