Opining Day...wow almost missed it lol, just caught it before i went to bed.

Today's Plays:
Oakland Athletics PS +1½ -112 (1 Unit)
Oakland Athletics ML +145 (1 Unit)

Now sounds stupid with Dice-K pitching in Japan, Champs up against a team noone expects to do anything. Now with all the talk about not taking the trip and coaches need money to i really dont think this Boston team is really ready to go while Oakland was sitting pretty getting ready for the season opener.

Also Boston is a slow starter and doing alot of traveling. Red Sox are in the midst of a three-country, 18-day road trip that will carry them over 16,000 miles in the air. Long trip, long distance. The Red Sox are 51-55-1 in season openers, having lost their last two and six of their last seven.

Will take a chance with Oakland in game 1. Reminds me a lot like the NHL opener with the **** Kings going overseas to play the defending champs Anahiem Ducks.
