Probably should have laid off that game last night. I am not sorry I took the Braves. I just wish I had another team to parlay it with. I would have only lost one unit instead of 1.60. The key in baseball is to limit your juice.

Today is a tough day as well. You have all the staff aces throwing today and the lines are bigger than what I like….looks like parlay time today.



Phillies vs Washington
Detroit vs Kansas City

Risking 1 unit to win 1.20 units

Myers is back as the staff ace and that says a lot when you have Cole Hamels on the team. Don’t let Washington’s win last night fool you into thinking this is a good team. They are on the road vs the defending NL East Champs. Phils pumped for this one and should get the win.

Tigers are loaded. Royals are one of the worst road teams that I can ever remember. Verlander was 18-6 last year and 6-0 career vs these Royals.



Mets vs Florida
Dodgers vs San Fran

Risking 1 unit to win 1.28 units

Santana….that is all I am saying for this one. Taking Brad Penney and the Dodgers vs the no-name Giants. Giants might be pretty bad this year.

There are my two moneyline parlays for today. I would never bet these games by themselves, just too much juice, but together the payout is not too bad for teams that should win today.


Toronto +144 vs Yankees………….Don’t be afraid to play against the Yankees this year. Just being the Yankees makes them way over priced every year. I will take Halladay at these odds vs anybody.


Atlanta -144 vs Pittsburgh……………..Pittsburgh is another dreadful road team, although it makes me nervous going against Snell. Braves should bounce back at home with Tom Glavine back with the team just like old times. I will not play another single favorite over -150 again this year. This is about my limit and I was still torn whether I should parlay them or not.

Arizona +100 vs Cincinnati…………Webb is probably the best pitcher in baseball the past couple of years, so I have to try him as a dog vs the always under achieving Reds.


I think I better stop here. It is so tempting to nearly bet the board today. I love bases and it is great to have it back.
