Overall I went 1-3 dropping 2.38 units. I lost both favorite plays and split my moneyline parlays. It feels like when I take dogs the favs win and when I take favs the dogs win. I am a little bit lost at the moment and that is unusual for me in bases. I am better than this and I will win it all back. I just need to get rolling and get some confidence going. Maybe today will be the day.


Phillies -145 vs Cincinnati……….About as high a favorite that I am willing to lay on a single bet. Only take the phils if you like them yourself. I am betting with my heart a little in this one. Phils need a win badly and they got their ace Cole Hamels throwing for them. He pitched a gem last time out, but the opposing pitching did even better and the phils lost a 1-0 game. I don’t think he will throw as good of a game today, but the phils should be able to give him better support in this one.

Washington -125 vs Florida………..As mentioned above, it was Redding of the Nationals who pitched that great game against the powerful Phillies offense. Now we get him at home vs the Marlins at this price. Are you kidding me? I am all over it. Redding is also 3-0 with a 2.00 era in five career starts vs the Marlins. I love this one. I was tempted to play more than one unit on this, but I am sticking to my guns and everything is just one unit.

Atlanta +107 vs Colorado…………I have been playing the Braves a lot so far this year. I still think they could win the NL East if things fall into place for them. Colorado so far this year is only a shadow of last years team. I think it is going to take their offense a while to get going. In the meantime I get Glavine as a dog vs a 1-5 Colorado team. I know the Rockies are due to bust lose, but so were the Tigers yesterday.

St Louis +102 vs Houston………….Why not? Might as well ride the hot teams early, especially when you can get them as a dog. Worst vs First so far in this division. I have to try this one.


I think I better stop at four games today. Whether sucks here in the northeast today. Hope there are not many rainouts. Good Luck Everybody!
